I remember back in the early days, there were book carnivals that helped authors promote their works. Today, we have book tours. Admittedly, I wasn’t sure how a book tour worked, until I ran across a site on Twitter called Xpresso Book Tours. It’s a great way for authors to get new releases and/or already released books in front of thousands of readers.
Since 2012, Xpresso Book Tours has been helping authors promote their books. They have several thousand social media followers and book bloggers to help spread the word. Their promotion packages run from a single day to a couple of weeks. They even offer cover revels and review services.
Their book tours range from 1 to 2 weeks and come with a wide range of promotion options. There are also book blitzes which usually only run for a single day, but are promoted on across a wide range of websites and social media platforms. Cover revels are for never-before-seen titles and are also promoted across thousands of sites.
If you happen to run a book blog and want to get in on the action, check out their sign-up opportunities. You can sign-up for the Master List and be able to promote all book blitzes and cover revels on the site. However, in order to sign-up for a book tour, you must fill out individual sign-ups as there are a limited number of spots per tour.
If you’re about to launch your first book, or just your latest title, check out Xpresso Book Tours for your promotional needs.
